'Portrait of Betty Hendrix'

. . . . . . .

NOTES: Bill and Betty Hendrix were good friends when my folks were living in Amherst, NH in the 1950s and early 60s. My mother got Betty to sit for her when she did this portrait. She was very pretty. I feel my mother was focused on her keen awareness and lots of intelligence! The dog's name was Penny.

Oil on canvas - 23" x 29" [1959] - [Private Collection]
