The oil paintings (and hundreds of drawings) are dedicated to splendid walks with my setters
Zoe (Crusader) and Glen Isla (Protector). The first painting, 'An Inland Sea' was a recall --I was interested in the light
and the transparency of a shallow tide --and this led to other large works, some of which were started outside and finished
with my imagination, some which started with photo sketches. There are a few hundred pencil and chalk drawings.
