'From Along the Shore and Inland'

The paintings (and hundreds of drawings) are dedicated to splendid walks with my setters
Zoe (Crusader) and Glen Isla (Protector). The first painting, 'An Inland Sea' was a recall --I was interested in the light
and the transparency of a shallow tide --and this led to other large works. Most the paintings were started outside and finished
with my imagination. There are several hundred pencil and chalk
drawings.
