The paintings (and hundreds of drawings) are dedicated to splendid walks with my setters
Zoe (Crusader) and Glen Isla (Protector). The first painting, 'An Inland Sea' was a recall --I was interested in the light
and the transparency of a shallow tide --and this led to other large works, some of which were started outside and finished
with my imagination, some which started with photo sketches. There are several hundred pencil and chalk drawings.

(Most of these paintings are 20" x 20" . . . . all the large paintings were sold)
